An environmental interpretation of Anton Chekhov’s last play, The Cherry Orchard, at the historic Dyckman Farmhouse Museum at 204th and Broadway in Manhattan. Visitors can follow the actors throughout the house and garden as the play unfolds.

Madame Lyubov Ranevskaya returns from holiday to sell the family estate. Desperate to hold on to the memories it holds and it’s beautiful cherry orchard, Lyubov fights to keep her home alive, and eventually sells it to family friend and former serf Lopakin.
